今回は、エルワン川崎校からニュージーランドに旅立った

メンバーさんのご紹介です(*^-ﾟ)v♪

Nozomiさんがエルワン川崎校でレッスンを開始したのは、1年半前。

当初から"ワーキングホリデーに向けて基礎を身に付ける”という

1つの目標をもってがんばり続けてきました。

レベル1からスタートし、最終的にはレベル4！！

すっかり日常会話はこなせるまでに上達しました★すごい！！(*ﾟ▽ﾟﾉﾉﾞ☆ﾊﾟﾁﾊﾟﾁ

これも一重にNozomiちゃんの努力の結果です。

今は遠いニュージランドの大地を踏みしめている頃かしら？？

みなさま、１０月に入りすっかりと秋の空気になりましたね。

 すでにご存知の方も多いと思いますが

先日、川崎校に新しいインストラクター、ALが加わりました！

そこで自己紹介をしてもらいましょう！

Pleased to meet you. My name’s Al Hagger.

Al is short for Alastair, a Scottish name given to me by my Glaswegian grandfather.

My mother and father met in Singapore,

where my father worked as a Royal Air Force engineer;

my mother worked for the British government,

and her father was a captain in the Royal Navy.

 My parents returned to England in 1964 and had a baby daughter,

my sister, in 1966.

 I was born in 1970 in Stevenage, a small town in the south east of England,

and grew up in Surrey, one of England’s most beautiful counties.

After I graduated from the University of London,

where I studied English Language & Literature,

I moved to Fukuoka, Kyushu, and began studying Japanese taiko drumming.

I left Fukuoka in 1999 and worked as a make-up artist in Los Angeles and London

 before joining the professional taiko group Mugenkyo, who are based in Glasgow.

I spent a very exciting year touring the United Kingdom with Mugenkyo

before deciding to move back to Japan in 2001.

My father is due to retire this year after more than thirty years at the computer company IBM.

My mother spends her free time taking care of her horse, and my sister now runs her own recruitment company.

In October 2007 my sister and her son, my 7 year old nephew, came to visit me in Japan.

I now spend my free time making music and writing; my latest project is a television drama series about the 18th Century highwayman Dick Turpin.
