Dear L-One Members

I am sad to say that on September 1st,
I will be finishing my time at L-One.

I have enjoyed the past year and a half here

in Kawasaki and I was lucky to meet so many
nice people.

Great fellow Instructors staff and of course,
great student have made this time a lot of fun!

Dear members of L-One,I am sad to say that I must leave L-One Kawasaki.
My last day will be on Thursday, July 26th, 2007.
I had great fun helping you learn English and I hope you found
my suggestions useful. I had a wonderful time teaching you because
you made me laugh and showed me how much you want to learn English!
I will miss sharing with you the joy of leveling up and
watching as you all improved month by month.
Never give up! Gambatte!

Hello students of L-One and the world!

During Golden Week, I traded the polluted and crowded streets of Tokyo
for the fresh air and crowded streets of Nikko!
I had time to see the mysterious and beautifully carved temples of Nikko
and travel up to serene Lake Chuzenji.
I wanted to climb to the top of Mount Nantai but the date was May 2nd
and the mountain doesn’t open to tourists until May 5th.
I climbed up half way anyway!
I love climbing mountains!

What is Mathew learning?

About the legend of the three monkeys: Hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil.

Will he understand? Only time will tell…

Hey there. This is Shaki.

I wanted to share one of the biggest issues in my life at the moment.

It's that whenever I go to the super market these days,
they are always out of natto!

I've always liked natto.
When I was in Canada natto was special because it cost $2 for one pack.
ONLY ONE PACK!
Also, it came frozen.
No "fresh" natto.

Nowadays, I can't get any natto because of
some show called "Aru aru" something something? I forget the name.

I miss having natto.
How about you?

Flying at Night.

Boeing 767-300ER Flight Deck

Above you can see a view of the instrument panel in a Boeing 767-300ER
from the 1St Officer’s (Co-Pilot) prospective.
This photograph was, obviously, taken at night.
The aircraft is in a cruise configuration at high altitude,
approximately FL360 (36,000ft A.S.L.)
With a nice tailwind of 46 nautical miles per hour,
the aircraft is traveling at a ground speed of 519Kts.
