Hi guys,

I think studying by yourself is really important to improving your English. There are many ways to do it, but today I want to talk about a kind of program, called an SRS program, that can be really useful. SRS stands for Spaced Repetition System. The idea is you enter anything you want to learn into the program as facts, which consists of a question and an answer. The program shows you the question and you try and think of the answer and if you desire, it can do the reverse (answer to question). Depending on how easy it is, choose a number between 0 and 4. 0 if you can’t remember the answer at all and 4 if it is really easy.

Hi!

I'm the new kid in town, the latest addition to L-One's staff of instructors. My name's Carlos, but you can call me Cal.

I was born in Peru, South America, but I learned English at an early age so I was basically raised bilingual. My interest in traveling and learning about different cultures has taken me to more than 30 countries in four continents, and has allowed me to make friends all over the world. Before coming to Japan, I lived in Sydney, Australia for several years, and I guess that's where I would be right now if I weren't living in Nagoya.

If you enjoy traveling and would like to be able to communicate with people from other countries, then, don't wait any longer and start studying English because that's the language that most people speak in today's globalized world. Plus, you'll find that learning English here at L-One School is easy and fun!

Hi,

My name is Alistair and I’m a new teacher! I am 26 years old from Melbourne in Australia. I have many hobbies including baseball, futsal, table tennis, juggling, reading, movies, etc. I first became interested in Japan by watching Japanese animation and movies. I found the culture fascinating, the language melodious and was quickly enthralled. I soon decided to begin studying Japanese and eventually come to Japan.

In 2007 I came to Japan and worked as an English teacher in a small town called Arai which is between Kosai and Bentenjima, near Hamamatsu. I loved the beautifully scenery, slow life and friendly people. It was a great experience, but in time I decided to move Nagoya and experience a big city, and what a city it is! I love the various parks and shrines it has and the atmosphere on the streets. It feels like something exciting might happen at any moment!

I am looking forward to teaching many students the wonderful language of English.

トピックは5つあり、トピックの中に下記の4つの学習ポイントが盛り込まれておりますっ！！！

こちらのレッスンを受けていただくことで、英語でのビジネス（取引）に必要な

 コミュニケーション能力を高めることが出来るシステムとなっております　d(>_< )GOOD!

①　語棄力アップ　（日々の業務で使われる表現や、言い回しの練習）

②　リスニング　（実用的な表現や言い回しのリスニングエクササイズ）

③　スピーキング　（新しく覚えた表現等を、実際の状況や、

                     　　　　　   それに近い状況で使用するスピーキング練習）

④　ビジネス学習　（ビジネスでのやりとりの際に見られる、日本と多国間における

                  　　　　 　    文化的背景の違いを学び予備知識をつけるレッスン）

Entertaining a Foreign Client - 海外からの顧客の接待 - （６月）

訪日中の顧客や同僚のもてなし方について学ぶ。

（レストランや観光地の勧め方、世間話、マナーの良い会話の締めくくり方法や、別れの挨拶の方法）

Meeting for the First Time - 初対面での会話 - （６月）

ビジネス上での自己紹介、会社紹介方法の学習。また、ビジネス上で、ふさわしい話題の学習。

Using the Phone - 電話での会話 - （６月）

英語を使用しての電話の掛け方、受け方、伝言の受け取り方、メモの残し方について学ぶ。

また、会社での部署名についても学ぶ。
